Who I am

I live in a village called Ojén which is located in the Province of Málaga in Southern Spain. This is also where I have my studio. So with the purpose of keeping things simple, dear reader, I shall attempt to categorize what I do. For some time I worked on a series called "Aspects of Andalucía" which were paintings inspired by my natural surroundings. During this time I also worked extensively with monotypes depicting various motifs such as everyday objects and found objects. Recently I took to using coloured pencils to make a series of still-lifes of  small piles of books. I also undertook to paint a watercolour each day of the view from my roof-garden. The latest project is a series of collaged postcards which is introducing a story-telling element into my work.
